The Health Education Division was established about forty years ago as part of the Government’s commitment to promote sound health service delivery and the general well being of Sierra Leoneans. Our goal is to provide sound health education and health promotion activities in Sierra Leone through behavioral change and communication.

My name is Sahr B. Hemore and I am the program Manager of the Health Education Division of the Ministry of Health and Sanitation. I attended the National School of Hygiene in 1973 where I obtained a Royal Society of Health for West Africa Diploma in 1975.
