Health Minister Condemns Unprofessional Newspaper Report
The Minister of Health and Sanitation, Dr. Soccoh Kabia on Monday 31st March 2008, during a hurriedly convened press conference at his office, has damned a front page story carried by Standard Times Newspaper captioned "Health Minister corrupts World Bank contract". The said story featured in the Monday 31st March 2008 edition of the Standard Times.

Health Minister assures he is not here to defraud Sierra Leone
Minister of Health and Sanitation on Monday dismissed as baseless and unfair reports by Standard Times newspaper that accused him of trading World Bank contract, saying he was not in government to defraud the people. A physician by discipline, Dr Soccoh Kabia, looking completely devastated by the March 31, publication, flaunted his achievements including a successful private business he operated in the United States as a medical practitioner.
