My name is Fatmata Mustapha. I studied at Fourah Bay College where I attained a B. A degree in 1986. Immediately after this, I joined the civil service as an Assistant Secretary in the Administrative Department of the Ministry of Agriculture.

I was transferred to the Ministry of Transport and Communication where I was made the Acting Senior Assistant Secretary in 1993. In 1995, I was promoted to Senior Assistant Secretary. In 2000, I was again transferred to the Ministry of Health as Deputy Secretary.

As the Deputy Director General and Director General of Support Services, my main role is to ensure the smooth running of the administration.

This entails coordinating the activities of the Ministry in order to provide quality health care for Sierra Leoneans.

I hope to ensure that all areas regarding procurement would be further looked into in order to effect quality delivery service in the future.

I also hope that a time would come when all our hospitals would be equipped to such a standard whereby first class medical treatment could be administered in all health institutions in Sierra Leone.
